Join us for our Geodetic Marker Expedition on Saturday October 7th from 10 am to noon!
This is a FREE Event.
We’ll meet for an instruction briefing (TBD) and then break into teams to conduct field work (by vehicles and on foot) locating and documenting up to 5 geodetic markers in the great Minnetonka area. After the expedition, you can register as a “Primary Observer” with USPS national website and submit your reports for credit.
This event qualifies for up to 3 merit mark hours on the Civic side of the triangle toward your merit mark.
Open to all members 8 years of age and up.
Dress for hiking in the rough.
