This is a merit mark opportunity – help USGS by tracking down and identifying/confirming geodetic marker locations.
Saturday Sept 15th 10 am – 1 pm
Meet at Cub Foods Community Room (upstairs in front of store), Hwy 7 and 101 – Minnetonka
Brief orientation, assignments and field exercises to recover Geodetic Markers.
We’ll break into teams and go out to locate and document geodetic markers in the area.
Dress for outdoor “wilderness” exploring.
