Radar for Boaters is a newly updated course developed by Canadian Power and Sail Squadrons. This course covers the different types of radar equipment, their limitations, and practical knowledge about how and where to mount the antenna, how to interpret the displays, and how to use your radar for collision avoidance and navigational purposes. Radar for Boaters is a required course for BOC Advanced Coastal Navigation (ACN) and Offshore Navigation (ON) certification. Class begins Thursday, January 10 and will be (4) two-hour sessions. There will be no class January 17. The last class will be Thursday, February 7th.
