If you are interested in taking JN this winter, please contact Jeff Schott (education@minnetonkaps.org). Class will begin on Thursday, January 21, 2010, 1900-2100 and run each Thursday for 14 weeks. Class will be held at Gander Mountain in Eden Prairie.

Seamanship will be offered 23 Mar – 27 Apr (Tuesdays) 1900-2100 (7:00-9:00pm) at Peace Church in St. Louis Park. Please notify the SEO (education@minnetonkaps.org) if you plan to attend.
Annual USPS Youth Poster Contest – Entries Due by June 18

The United States Power Squadron’s annual youth poster contest is now in full-swing with entries due by June 18 – for judging at the D10 Summer Rendezvous, June 19-21. Children ages 6-14 are eligible to participate in three judging groups: ages 6-8, 9-11, and 12-14. Entries must be submitted on either 15×20 or 14×22 poster paper. A complete listing of the rules are available at the below link. Completed posters should be delivered to Lt/C Rob Gaddes (Administrative Officer) on or before June 18.
Paper is available at the island and we will have adults ready to assist at each of the functions prior to the entry due date.

18 September Thursday General Membership Meeting Notice
Location: Yacht Club (lower level) 4165 Shoreline Drive, Spring Park (just west of the Sheriff’s Water Patrol Headquart ers building).
Time: 1900 hours
As always, all members are invited to attend this quarterly business meeting and participate in our squadron’s affairs. Your attendance is important as we need a quorum of members present to conduct our business.
